Car chasing

We got some new remote control cars from Gramma Esther, Grampa Jeff and Uncle Buzz. We have been having a great time racing them around in the entryway. Gracie loves to crawl on the floor and try to catch the cars as we race them around.

My new bike

I got a new bike from Santa this year. It is a Mongoose and it's really cool. Since it is so big, Santa left it in the garage. There was a note on the tree telling me to go out to the garage to find my present. It was like a Christmas scavenger hunt.

Merry Christmas!

What a fun Christmas we had this year. We woke up around 6:45am and were thrilled to come downstairs to find a load of new presents from Santa under and around the tree. We of course wanted to rip open all the packages right away but ended up having so much fun with each individual gift as we opened it that it took much longer than we thought it would. Gracie was most happy to just chew on her unopened presents and play with the shredded wrapping paper on the floor. What a wonderful morning.

Nap time

On Christmas Eve, there was so much to do and so much fun to be had that Adam tuckered out late in the afternoon. Actually, Daddy did too!

Opening a present on Christmas Eve

We started a new tradition on Christmas Eve this year in that we were able to open up a present! Here we are opening up our new movie from Belle. Thanks Belle! We love it.

The Pit

We love to take all the cushions off the couch and make a "pit" to play in. We have a great time rooting up the cushions and jumping around. This is especially fun on rainy days when we can't get outside to burn off our energy!

A Birthday Party for Daddy

Since Daddy is on vacation this week, we had his birthday party tonight instead of on Friday. Gramma Esther, Grampa Jeff, Grandma Kitty and Grandpa Art were all able to come and celebrate with us. It was lots of fun and we all enjoyed our steak that Daddy grilled to perfection! Daddy got some pretty cool new birthday presents and Mommy even made him a cheesecake - his favorite!

Gracie and Santa

We had our local MOMS club Christmas party on Saturday. Santa was there. Since Adam and I have already seen Santa twice this year, we really didn't think we needed to see him again. Gracie didn't mind sitting on his lap one more time though!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

On Friday, it was Daddy's birthday so we took him out to lunch at our favorite place, Chili's. When Daddy got home from work, he got to open up his present - a brand new pair of Justin Ropers. Happy Birthday Daddy. We love you!

Adam's Christmas Concert

Tonight, Adam had his Christmas concert at his preschool church. He sang lots of Christmas songs with his classmates. Here are Adam and I after his concert.

A Winter Party

Today, I also had my Christmas party at school. Most of the parents were able to come up and celebrate with us. We played "Pin the nose on Rudolph," decorated cookies, played winter bingo and even got to make a crafty reindeer bag.
The first picture is of me and my good friend Emma. The second picture is of me and my good friends Ellie and Maddie. Most of my best little friends in kindergarten are girls - they are just so nice and fun to be around! The third pic is of my entire class and the last pic is of me in a group hug with Ellie, Sophia, Maddie and Mrs. Conley. We all love her very much. She is a wonderful teacher.

Pajama Pizza Party

Today, Adam had his Christmas party at preschool. He got to wear his pajamas and eat pizza, grapes, apples and cupcakes - yummy! He had a book exchange and received goodie bags and a Christmas music CD from his teachers Ms. Becky and Ms. Misty. Even Mommy got to be there. It was so much fun.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa. We love you and wish you "would never leave."

Neighborhood Christmas Party

Today we had our neighborhood Christmas party. It was lots of fun. There were some carrollers singing cheerful music and best of all, we got to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what we wanted for Christmas. This was the first year that both Adam and I sat on Santa's lap together and there were no tears. It was Gracie's first time to see Santa and she didn't even cry. She was mesmerized by the bells he was wearing on his sleeves.

Three little munchkins

Ahhh, the yearly tradition of having our picture taken for Christmas cards. Adam and I don't quite understand the fact that we always have to smile and look at the camera while Mommy and Daddy do funny dances and tricks to catch Gracie's attention and smile. As you can see here, I am not looking at the camera but at my baby sister. Oh well. At least we're all happy. I'm sure there is one pose out of the hundreds that Daddy took that turned out with all 3 of us looking at the camera. :)
