A fun Halloween party!

Last night, Miss Tiffany invited us to the Halloween party some of her friends were having. There was pumpkin painting, trick-or-treating and we even got to have some good snacks. We're getting our fair share of candy already and it isn't even Halloween yet! :-)

Happy Fall, Y'all

Today, we went to a pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins. There were so many to choose from, it was a little overwhelming! Adam seemed to like all the funny shaped gourds the best so I helped pick out the best pumpkin with mom. Adam picked out a medium sized one and mommy picked out a little one. We had a great time and the weather could not have been any better!

Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

Reli and I make up the lions and tigers part, anyway. We had a Halloween party at our church playgroup yesterday. It was lots of fun and everyone got to dress up in their costumes. Reli and I enjoyed having a snack together. Mommy didn't get any more pictures from the party because her camera ran out of batteries - what an inopportune time for that to happen. There will be plenty more pictures as Halloween gets closer so don't worry! Mommy will make sure she has new batteries in the camera.

Haircut Day

Today, we took Adam to the mall to have his 2 year pictures made. He did such a great job smiling for the camera. After we were done there, mom took us to the haircut place which is one of our favorite places to go. They have lots of fun toys to play with and when we are done with our haircuts, Miss Linda gives us a lollipop! We were both good boys for our haircuts today. Adam got to sit in the race car and I got to sit on the lion. Don't we look handsome?

On the way to the shower

Tonight, mommy took off my diaper before I went upstairs to get in the shower. I have my shorts in hand to put in the laundry basket. I just love to run around naked! I wish mommy would let me do it more often. My bottom is a little bit red because my mommy loves to pat it when it is bare. It is so CUTE!

Singin' and Dancin'

Lately, we've been going to Wal-Mart ALOT! It seems that mom is needing to get lots of stuff for our new house. We've made a new friend there and his name is "Skeleton Man." He is at the entrance of the store so we walk by him every time we go in. If you step on the button on his foot, he sings and dances so we sing and dance right along with him. It's pretty silly!

Reading with Grandpa

One of my new favorite past times is reading books. Mommy is very happy about this because I really wasn't interested in books until recently. I love to sit with my Grandpa Art and have him read book after book after book to me. "Ah la lou, Bmmmmpppppf." (Translation from Mommy: I love you, Grandpa.)

The Duck Pond

Yesterday we went to our favorite duck pond to feed the ducks all of our stale bread, buns and waffles. The ducks and geese were very hungry - as usual - so we had our work cut out for us. A few were a bit agressive and wouldn't wait their turn. I was a little bit afraid at first but once I found the turtles in the pond, I was happy. Adam really wasn't afraid at all.

Friends Reunited

Today we saw my good friend, Reli. I hadn't seen her since early August so it was really nice to see her again. Since we played together today, I have not stopped talking about her. "Ah la lou, A-ra-ra." (Translation from mommy: I love you Aurelia.)

Bubble Mower

I just love my new bubble mower from Gramma Esther and Grampa Jeff. I like to check the oil and mow the sidewalk. What great fun! Daddy can't wait 'till I'm big enough to do this for real! I don't know why he complains so much about mowing the grass. Mowing the sidewalk is a piece of cake for me!

Swingin' around

I love to swing on the playscape in our backyard. The wooden horse is one of my favorites. I can do all kinds of tricks on it. We are going to be moving out of our "summer house" in a few weeks and even though I'm very excited about going to our "new big house" I'm kind of sad about leaving the playscape behind. "Why do we only have grass in our new backyard? Mom, how come we don't have a big playscape with rocks at our new house?" I guess I'll just have to be patient and see if my parents decide to put one in for Adam and I.

Enjoying the cooler weather!

Today, we went to the park and were having so much fun in the nice cool weather. This is my mom's favorite time of year and I think it will be ours too. It was fun to put our jackets on for the first time this year. My little brother Adam likes to do everything that I do so as you can see in some of these pictures, he is following me up the jungle gym. He has no fear at all.

"O-Ju"

My new favorite drink is "o-ju" otherwise known as orange juice. It is so yummy and delicious. When I come in from playing outside, I always ask mom for some. Here are some pictures of me with my "o-ju."

Rock hopping

Today at the park, I climbed on the rocks and had a great time. It is fun to hop from one to another to another. I love to "chump."

Haystack Scramble

There was a fun event for us little kids called the haystack scramble. They threw candy and treats in a big haystack and then we got to go searching through to find as many treats as we could. I wasn't quite sure what to do at first so mommy had to help me a little bit. Once I got the hang of it, I loaded up my cup with candy. After the scramble was over, I enjoyed the fruits of my labor and also got to get a balloon. Mommy said, "Adam, how is your candy?" I then said, "Mmmmmm, yum." What a great day at the picnic. Fun activities, good food, good friends, candy treats and balloons. What more could I ask for??

Rock climbing

There were lots of rocks to climb on. I was pretty good at maneuvering my way around them. My little brother wants to do everything that I do so I had to help him a little bit. Here is a picture of us standing on top of one of the rocks.

Chocolate ice cream looks good on my nose!

After our BBQ dinner at the picnic, we had ice cream for dessert. Of course, I wanted chocolate. I ended up finishing my whole cup of ice cream and even ended up with quite a bit on my face. I had to get all the ice cream out of that cup and couldn't let any go to waste. It was delicious!

Paddle Boat

On Saturday, we went to our Daddy's company picnic. There were so many fun things for us to do there. We really enjoyed the paddle boats in the water. There was a bridge for us to go under and everything. I liked helping Daddy use the pedals. Adam liked riding on the "bo-bo."

Pony Express

At the company picnic, the biggest hit of all was the pony rides! All the kids had been waiting all afternoon and we finally got our turn to ride after dinner. The ranch staff helped us onto the ponies and then took us around the corral for a spin. "Gee-yup, gee-yup!" As soon as Adam's turn was over, he said, "Mo gee-yup, mo gee-yup." This is better than a ride on the back of Belle any day!!

Gramma says I'm a rock star

Yesterday, our good friend Paige was here to play all day. We had a great time with her. She left her sunglasses at our house and I found them in mommy's purse last night. I really like to wear them and Gramma Esther says that I look like a rock star in them. I'm still great at saying "cheese" for the camera and loved posing in those cool sunglasses! I think pink with polka dots may be my color. :)

Flight simulator

Last night, my Grampa Jeff let us play with the flight simulator on his computer. It is so much fun and as you can see, my daddy and grampa enjoy it almost as much as I do. Adam is still too little to play so he has to watch. That's OK, though. He'll be big enough soon enough!!
