Belle goes for a canoe ride

Belle could not stand to be left behind while we went canoeing with Daddy so when we got back, Daddy took her for a ride. She hopped right into the canoe without hesitation and then hopped right out when her ride was over. She is such a good doggie!

For those of you who are fans of the book, "Go Dog, Go" you will understand the title for this entry. We had a great time at our Gramma and Grampa's this weekend. Daddy took us out in the canoe and we were both good at helping him with the paddling.

Good Friends

Adam and Wesley's little sister, Julia, have become fast friends. They always enjoy playing together while at our soccer games. Here they are giving each other a farewell hug and then sitting in Julia's chairs on the sideline watching the game. Mommy says they make quite a pair!

Soccer Buddies

My friend Wesley and I have been buddies since we were not even one year old. We started playing soccer together this Spring and have been having a ball. Here we are together at our last game of the season.

It's a Girl!

We had this really fun sign in our front yard after Baby Grace was born. It was pretty big and we were so happy to announce our new family member to the neighborhood.

Pre-K Graduation

Today we had my end of the year school program and pre-kindergarten graduation ceremony. Adam and I were both in the program and I got my diploma. Look out kindergarten - here I come! There is a picture with my family, a picture with my teacher, Mrs. Stacey, and also a picture of me with my best buddy Rocco. Don't our graduation caps look cool?

Since we have had our new baby sister, our Grandmas have been spending a lot of time at our house. Adam has become particularly attached to Gramma Esther since Baby Grace was born.

Mommy said that Grace helped her pick out these new presents for us and we just love them. We have been out in the cul-de-sac every day to ride our new scooters from baby Grace. Thank you baby sister! We love you!

The pediatrician came to see baby Grace every morning in the hospital. He is such a kind and gentle man who definitely loves babies.

We both enjoy holding our baby sister. She is so tiny and we need some help but we are very careful. We are so proud to be the "big brothers." Mommy and Daddy tell us what a great job we are doing to help them with the new baby.

Kindergarten Buddy Day

Today I got to go up to the elementary school where I will be in kindergarten in the Fall. I spent the day with my "buddy" Brock and got to have the whole kindergarten experience for the day. My Daddy took me and I had a great time. All of my good friends Madison, Nikki and Wesley got to go to buddy day too and they all had lots of fun too. I can't wait to start school in the Fall. It's going to be so much fun!

Here is a picture of our new sister with Mommy. Mommy was very tired after the delivery but was feeling good and was also relieved that our sister made it safely into the world.

Meeting Baby Grace for the first time

We are enamored with our new sister. We were thrilled to meet her. After counting down the days until her birth, it was very exciting once she was finally here. Our Grandma Esther was lucky enough to be in the delivery room with Mommy and Daddy. That is why she is wearing the "funny blue suit" like Daddy.

Grace Marie

This is our new sister at just a few minutes old. She was born at 5:14pm on Monday, May 8th. She was 8 lbs, 2 oz and 19 inches long. You can see her weight on the scale here.

We had a big surprise last week. Our baby sister was supposed to come on Friday, May 12th but ended up coming on Monday, May 8th instead. We were very excited about her arrival. Here we are right before Mommy and Daddy went to the hospital. Mommy is 38 weeks pregnant and ready for baby sister to come!

"Watching a movie"

Today after our long day at the pool, neither one of us wanted to take a nap because we weren't tired. Mommy said that we could both lay on the couch and watch a movie. We didn't last 20 minutes before we were both sawing logs. Maybe we were a little more tired than we thought!

Today we spent the whole day at our neighborhood pool. It was so much fun and we all had a great time and could have stayed even longer if our mamas hadn't been so tired!
