Visitors from Iowa

Our Great Aunt Ann and Great Uncle Charlie came to visit us from Iowa. The last time I saw them, I was 18 months old and this was Adam and Gracie's first time to meet them.

Pinewood Derby

Daddy and I made a great car for Cub Scouts and the Pinewood Derby race. My car came in 2nd place several times. Here is Hagan, Tyler, Daniel and me. What a great way to spend a Saturday!

Gracie and her babies

Gracie thoroughly enjoys being a "Mommy" to all of her babies and dollies. She likes to carry them, change them and feed them. This baby in the picture was having lunch with Gracie because we all know how much babies love hot dog bites and bananas!

Happy Birthday Alex!

This morning when I woke up, I was ready for my birthday to be here. It was a great day and I got to open my presents from Mommy and Daddy. We went to dinner at Johnny Carino's in the evening and Gramma Esther and Grampa Jeff were able to come with us. Grandma Kitty and Grandpa Art even came by to wish me a Happy Birthday. It's really great to have my family so close!

An early birthday party

I will be 7 on January 9th. We had my birthday party a few days early though. I had a couple of my friends come over and spend the night. We had pizza and cake. Mommy made me a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and Hershey's kissables on it - just what I wanted. I think I'm going to like being 7!

Tired baby!

Playing at Jumping beans is hard work for a little girl. Good thing for naps in the car!

Happy Birthday Rosaleen!

We were able to celebrate Rosaleen's 3rd birthday with her at Jumping Beans - one of our FAVORITE places to go. We had a great time.

Oscar and Snoopy

We have some new family members and their names are Oscar and Snoopy. They are winter white dwarf hamsters. We got to adopt them from the pet store and name them all by ourselves. Adam's is Snoopy and mine is Oscar (named after the sharkslayer). They are getting used to their new cages and have been busy as little bees during the night time building their beds and getting comfortable. Oscar enjoys running on his wheel but Snoopy hasn't used his too much yet. I'm sure he will soon though.

Skateboards and rollerskates

Santa brought us our skateboards and Grandma Kitty & Grandpa Art brought us our rollerskates. We've been having a great time with them both.

Gracie and her presents

Gracie had more fun opening the presents and ripping the paper. Once she was all done ripping the paper, she was ready to move onto the next present and start ripping all over again. Once she opened her dollies though, she wanted those out of the package right away! She loves her dollies.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning is finally here! We have been waiting and waiting and waiting. We were so good and even waited upstairs until we heard Mommy and Daddy wake up at about 7am! Lots of presents, lots of family - can't beat it!

Alex and his girlfriends

I have lots of friends and lots of them are girls. Here is a pic of me with two of my "girlfriends," Madison and Gracie M.

A Wise Man

Adam had his Christmas program at preschool last week. He was one of the three wise men along with Cullen and Cooper. He did a fantastic job and even managed to wave to us during the program.

Gingerbread House

We enjoyed making a huge gingerbread house before Christmas. One of our favorite parts of making the house was snacking on the candy. We were pretty proud of or confection when it was all done!

A visit from our cousins

Our cousins, Tyler and Adin, came to stay with us for a few days while their Mommy and Daddy went on a trip. We sure enjoyed having them here and it was lots of fun playing with everyone.

Not so fond of Santa

We met with our favorite jolly old fella and our little sister was terrified of him. It almost seems to be a rite of passage to go through this in our family....

Cookie decorating

Adam was able to decorate some yummy Christmas cookies with his friends Aidan, Cullen, Tate and Pato. Cullen's mom, Ms. Heidi, was very brave to let all of those boys loose with icing in her kitchen!
