Happy Birthday Grandma Kitty!

We were able to go up to Grandma's house to wish her a happy birthday. We always love to go to Grandma Kitty's house. Happy Birthday Grandma! We love you very much.

Discovering Belle

Now that Grace is mobile (she rolls all over the floor to get where she wants to go), she has become curious about Belle. Usually when Belle sees one of us coming, she gets up and walks away. This morning when Grace got close to her, she just laid there and let Grace touch her paws and mouth. Belle is such a nice doggie and we all love her so much. She is almost 10 years old now and is an important member of our family.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving!

We hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We had a great time with our Grandma Kitty and Grandpa Art. It was nice to all be together this year. Mommy completely forgot to take any pictures except for this one which is us before we went up to Grandma's house for the day on Thanksgiving.

Adam's soccer medal

Adam received a medal for playing soccer this season too. He was very proud of it. He and Aurelia did a great job together on their team.

Rub A Dub Dub, Three Kids In A Tub

Tonight, Gracie took her first bath in the big bath tub. Mommy says that she barely fits in her baby bath tub anymore so it was time to move into the big bath. She really enjoyed it and we really enjoyed playing with her while we were taking a bath.

Soccer Party

Saturday was our last soccer game of the season. We didn't win our game but we played our best and had fun. After our game was over, we went to Krispy Kreme for some donuts and a party. We got medals from our coach as our reward for a fantastic season.

The Airport Tour

We got to go take a tour of a local airport with our MOMS club. It was really cool because a pilot brought one of his airplanes for us to look at, sit in and touch. This was lots of fun and it was great getting to watch the airplanes take off and land.
Here I am with our good friends Tommy and Sean.

Two rollie pollies

Lately, Grace has been moving all around the floor by rolling. Adam really enjoys getting down on the floor and rolling along with her.

Happy Birthday, Baby!

Grace Marie is 6 months old already so it is her official half-birthday. She had her well checkup at the doctor and is doing great. She is 15 lbs. 6oz and is 26 1/2 inches long. She is in the 25th percentile for her weight and the 75th percentile for her length. Mommy has now added green beans (which didn't go over so well) and squash to her repertoire of foods. Grow, Gracie, Grow!

Trick-or-Treat

We had a great time trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. We had to miss many of our Halloween festivities and parties because I had strep throat. Thankfully by Halloween I was feeling good enough to go trick-or-treating with Adam and my friends. I was so excited to wear my skeleton costume. Gracie was a little Hula Baby - soooo cuuute! We are still enjoying our Halloween candy. Mommy has been doing a good job of rationing it out every day so it probably won't be gone until next Halloween!

A Halloween party and parade

On Halloween, Adam had a Halloween parade with all of his classmates at school. Everyone looked really cute in their costumes. After the parade, we came back to our classrooms and had a party. We got to decorate cookies and play lots of fun games. As you can see, Adam's favorite part of decorating the cookies was licking the frosting off of his spoon!

A new little lovie for Gracie

Gracie took her nap today and put herself to sleep while snuggling with her new little silkie from Ms. Kirsten. Hopefully this will become one of her new favorite lovies to help her sleep a little bit better at night! Here she is sleeping with "silky." Isn't she sweet?

An Ice Cream Birthday Party

On Sunday we also got to go to our good friend Aurelia's birthday party. There was a fun playground and we got to have some delicious Amy's ice cream and cake! Here is a picture of us with Aurelia (wearing one of her birthday presents) and her cousin McKenna. Happy Birthday Aurelia!

A Bowling Birthday Party

On Sunday, we went to my good friend Rocco's birthday party. It was great to see him again because now that we are both in kindergarten at different schools, we really don't see each other much at all. Adam was very happy to see Corrina too! It was a lot of fun bowling at the party. Happy Birthday Rocco!

Pumpkin Carving

Once we got our pumpkins home, we all pitched in and carved them. Mommy cleaned out all the seeds, Adam and I helped to draw designs on the pumpkins and then Daddy carved them. Then when they were all finished, we lit a candle in each one so it would glow. We can't wait for Halloween to be here!

Happy Fall Y'all!

Today we went to the pumpkin patch. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed selecting our very own pumpkins. We even picked out some little ones for Gracie.

Bringing some Halloween cheer!

Today, I got to go to a local nursing home in my Halloween costume. Mommy couldn't go because she had to stay home with Alex but I was able to go with Miss Andrea and my good friend Adrienne. Here is a picture of me with a few of my buddies at the party. The folks sure did enjoy seeing all of us in our costumes. We were a bit shy around them but they didn't seem to mind. They even gave us a few candy treats! Yummy! In case you were wondering, I am dressed up as Woody from Toy Story.

It's a Hoedown!

Every year at my school they have a big carnival called the "Hoedown." We kids get to go and have a great time playing games, riding ponies, jumping in moonwalks, riding trains and dunking our teachers in the dunk tank. All of the proceeds go to our school. Adam and I were very good and won lots of prizes. Mommy was working the cotton candy booth at the end of the day and we had to leave early because we were being overwhelmed by bees! They could not stay away from all the sweet stuff. It was a super fun day and we can't wait for it to come again next year!

Crowe's Nest Farm

We got to go to Crowe's Nest Farm with some friends from our MOMS club. It was so much fun and I really enjoyed seeing all the animals - especially the pigs. They were HUGE! There was a demonstration of milking a cow, some turtles to watch and even a pumpkin patch to walk through. There were all kinds of birds, animals and even snakes and lizards. There was a fun hay ride that I enjoyed. Unfortunately, Gracie cried and was very frightened by the whole hay ride experience. She enjoyed the rest of the day though!

A visit from the Tooth Fairy

Last night I lost my very first tooth! I was able to wiggle it out all by myself. Daddy couldn't even do it but I could! I was very excited about losing my tooth. I left it under my pillow and the Tooth Fairy brought me a one dollar bill. Thank you Tooth Fairy. Here is a picture of me after my tooth came out. You can see the new tooth already poking through the gum.
