Rodeo Days

Rodeo Days are here again! At Adam's school, they played lots of games including the beanbag toss and hoop toss. They also were able to pan for gold and do some square dancing! Yee haw

On Monday, we got to downtown and see "The Wizard of Oz" at a local live theatre. Before we went to the play, we got to have a picnic lunch on the grounds of the Capitol. We all had a great time!

MOMS Club

Our Mommy is involved with a local MOMS Club chapter. She really enjoys it and has made lots of friends. We have lots of friends too! Mommy went on a trip last weekend with a few friends from her chapter for their annual MOMS Club luncheon. She said that it was an interesting day.

Enjoying Spring

We have been having beautiful weather lately and it has been great to get outside and enjoy the parks.

Dinosaur Park

Today, Gracie got to go to a new park where they have dinosaur fossils to dig up. She enjoyed walking around the sand in her bare feet - what a treat!

Madison had a roller skating party for her 7th birthday last week. What a blast!

More Easter Fun

Our cousins, Adin and Tyler were at GRamma Esther and GRampa Jeff's on Easter Sunday. We always enjoy seeing them.

Gracie had a super time at Gramma Esther's and Grampa Jeff's on Easter Sunday. The egg hunt was her favorite!

Go See It

In Cub Scouts, we have these activities called "Go See It" and we do different things like visit a radio station, go on a hike or visit a local newspaper. This is me with most of my den mates touring one of the local newspapers. We had a blast and learned a lot about printing newspapers too.

Dr. Seuss Day

Adam had Dr. Seuss Day at his school a couple of weeks ago. They got to wear they pajamas and read Dr. Seuss stories most of the morning.

An Easter Egg Hunt Field Trip

On Thursday, Adam got to go on a field trip for his preschool's Easter Egg Hunt. It was a beautiful day and he even got to ride on a "real schoolbus." Mommy and Gracie were there too. At the end of the trip, everyone cracked confetti eggs over each other's heads. Some of those eggs were pretty hard and it took a couple of cracks on the head before they actually broke.

Two Little Monkeys, Climbing in a Tree

While we were at our Gramma and Grampa's house for a couple of days over Spring Break, we had a wonderful time. We got to go fishing and Adam even jumped in the frigid lake a couple of times! It was pretty cold though and I was to scared! Our favorite activity while we were there was climbing this huge magnolia tree. As you can see, the tree is taller than my Gramma and Grampa's house and we climbed all the way to the top - for real!

Camo birthday party

It was Daniel's birthday over Spring Break and he had a camo party at a local nature center. We got to go on a hike through the rocks and paint our faces like soldiers. The dino pit was awesome! Happy Birthday, Daniel!

Friends reunited

Over Spring Break, we took a drive to see our good friends, Eric, Grant and Kyle. Eric and I have been friends since we were 6 months old. Now we are both 7! Our mommies have been friends for over 20 years. It sure was great to see you, Eric! Hopefully we can get together this summer.

Mother & Son Dance

We went to the Mother & Son dance and it was really cool. At first, I was really embarrassed to dance with my Mom but by the end of the evening, I couldn't get enough of it! I can't wait until the next dance!

Lipstick anyone??

Well, little Miss Gracie LOVES to get into Mommy's bathroom drawers and she especially LOVES to use Mommy's chapstick, deoderant and anything else that makes her look pretty and smell good. One morning, Gracie got ahold of Mommy's lipstick and you can see what happened. Mommy had to brush her teeth 3 times to get all the lipstick off of them. Gracie keeps us all entertained, that's for sure!
