Birthday Cupcakes

We made 72 cupcakes for Adam's birthday party. They were a big hit amongst the kids. There were only 5 left after the party was over. We're so glad everyone enjoyed them so much!

Birthday Party

We had a party at the pool to celebrate Adam's birthday this year. Everyone had a fun time. It's great to have such nice friends! A few friends and family were unable to attend but we know everyone was there in spirit to celebrate Adam's big day. We love you all!

A new birthday present

Today is Adam's 4th birthday! He requested pancakes for his special birthday breakfast and also got to open his present as soon as he woke up. He was very excited.

We all fit!

We wanted to take Daddy's new car to Bella's birthday party on Sunday. We now know that in a pinch, we can all fit into the back of Daddy's car.

Fun at Bella's Birthday Party

We had a great time at Bella's 2nd birthday party. She is growing up so fast. Get ready, Bella, because Gracie will be keeping up with you in no time at all!

Happy Birthday to Adam (a little early)

Adam is so excited about his birthday coming up in 3 days. Gramma Esther and Grampa Jeff came to visit today and brought him his present a little early.

Our new car

Mommy and Daddy bought a new car for Daddy. He was very excited about their new purchase as so were we! We have taken several "rides" in it already and it's pretty spiffy.

On Friday night, we all got to go to Gramma and Grampa's for an evening of fun. Gracie crashed early and slept soundly on Gramma's bed.

Fun at gymnastics

We had a great time with some of our friends from MOMS Club yesterday. This was Gracie's first visit to the gym and she had a ball! So did we.

Adam and the kneeboard

Adam was very brave and took a turn on the kneeboard all by himself. He didn't even get his hair wet! Daddy went slow with the boat and Adam had so much fun! He is a champion and isn't even 4 yet!

Boating baby

Gracie had her first boat ride and swim in the lake this weekend. She loved "swimming" in the lake and also loved riding on the boat. She has a special affection for the water.

Tubing

Adam and I both enjoyed taking turns riding with Paige in the tube behind the boat. We made a great team!

A fun weekend at the lake

Last weekend, we went to our Gramma and Grampa's lake house with our good friend Paige and her parents. Paige's brother Ben was on a trip to Seattle so he wasn't able to come with us this time. We missed him but we had a great time! Here we are having a picnic lunch out on the boathouse. Gracie sure enjoyed her cheetos!

Two more teeth lost!

I am missing both of my front teeth now. It has been fun learning to eat things with my side teeth. I was having some doubts about the Tooth Fairy and thought that maybe she was really Mommy and Daddy playing tricks on me. Boy was I surprised when I woke up one morning with a note from the Tooth Fairy telling me that if I continued not to believe in her, she would stop coming to my house to collect my teeth. I immediately wanted to write her a note and apologize! I definitely want her to come back and leave dollar bills under my pillow in exchange for my teeth! I love you, Tooth Fairy!

Fun with friends

We have been enjoying our summer. We had a shaved ice sno cone last week with some friends from our local MOMS Club. It was lots of fun!

On the road again

We were all exceptioanally good in the car not only on the way to vacation but also on the way home. Adam and I had our little camp in the back seat of the van and Mommy sat in the middle with Gracie. The 12 hour trip was not difficult at all. Here we are at the end of our trip about an hour away from home. Yes, that is oreo cookie that Gracie is wearing all over herself. What can we say? Snacks, books, movies and games helped the time go by more quickly.

Riding the ferry

On our last day, we took the ferry from Fort Morgan to Dauphin Island. It saved us some mileage on our trip and it was really cool to drive our car onto the boat. This was our first time on a ferry. We even saw some dolphins.
