Daddy and Grace

Daddy can really make Gracie giggle. He gently tosses her up in the air and she squeals with delight.

On Saturday, it was picture day for all of us soccer players. Here we are looking great in our uniforms.

Picture with my friend

Here is me and my good friend Reli. I talk about her so much when we aren't together. "I miss 'Relya.' "

Adam and Reli's 1st soccer practice

Last week, Adam and his good friend Aurelia had their first soccer practice. It was really cute to see all the little ones with their soccer shoes and shin guards.

Welcome Baby Michael

Last weekend we had a baby shower for Baby Michael and his Mommy. We had to go to the pool with Daddy while Mommy threw the party with Baby Grace. Baby Michael was the perfect gentleman for his "coming out" party!

Healthy baby

Grace had her 4 month well checkup on Wednesday. She was perfect according to the doctor but Mommy didn't need him to tell her that! She was 12 pounds 14 ounces and 24 inches long. That puts her in the 25-50th percentile for both her height and weight. We're going to embark on some rice cereal this weekend. It should be interesting.

Adam's first day of school

Tuesday was Adam's first day of preschool. He was a little apprehensive but once he got there, he had a great time. He loves taking his lunchbox and water bottle to school "just like Alex."

Push ups

Grace is getting very strong. She is able to push up and hold her head up for quite some time now. She is even rolling over from her tummy to her back. Way to go Gracie!

Grace gets a new room

A couple of weeks ago, Mommy and Daddy took on a big project for our little sister. They moved her nursery downstairs into the bedroom that used to be the office. Mommy feels better having her downstairs since she is still so little. Grace loves her new room and is sleeping through the night in her crib! Mommy is thrilled about that.
We'll still keep her "old" room upstairs painted pink so that when she is ready for her "big girl" room if she wants to move back upstairs she will be able to.

One of Adam's favorite birthday presents was a new soccer ball from his friends Ben and Paige. He wanted to go out in the backyard first thing on Saturday morning to play soccer. Here he is wearing his cowboy boots ready to go!

Gracie Giggles

Our little sister is becoming so animated. Here is a snapshot of her feeling happy showing her baby blues and flashing her gums!

Happy Birthday Adam!!

Today Adam is 3! We will have his birthday dinner tonight. When we asked Adam what he wanted for his birthday dinner, he responded, "Steak and chocolate milk." Mommy thought for sure Adam would want PB&J but he surprised us all when he said he wanted steak. Of course, Daddy is thrilled that we get to have "real meat." Here is Adam waiting to open his birthday present at 6:30 this morning.

My new bike

Today I got a new Lightning McQueen bike for my birthday. It is so cool and I love riding it. I got to ride it around the house early this morning and once we got back from taking Alex to school, Mommy took me out in the cul-de-sac to ride it.

In my new classroom

My new classroom is so cool. I have my own cubby and my own hook to put my backpack on. I even have my own seat with my name on it. As you can see, I had no trouble sitting down and getting busy with a puzzle. Mommy had a bit of a hard time leaving me today and she cried a little bit but I didn't! Kindergarten is so much fun. I love kindergarten!

Walking to school

Madison and I are very good friends. We always have a good time together. It was nice to be able to walk to our first day of school together this morning.

The first day of kindergarten!!!

Today was my first day of kindergarten. What a great experience. I have been so excited about this for so long and the big day finally came! Mommy and I planned out a routine ahead of time so that things would run smoothly in order to get me to school by 7:45am at the latest! We all ate our breakfast together at 6:30 sharp and we were there this morning with time to spare. Daddy even took the day off of work so he could walk to school with us this morning. Of course, Adam and Gracie had to come along for the experience too.

Gracie and Cousin Dan

We are so fortunate to have our Cousin Dan in our family. He is a priest and has come to Texas for several special occasions. He married Mommy and Daddy, and he has Christened all 3 of us. He is truly a special man and we admire him so much.

Gracie's Party

Here are some pictures from Gracie's party on Saturday afternoon. We had lots of friends, family and neighbors come and celebrate with us. The top picture is a picture of all the kiddos sitting with with Miss Tiffany and Cousin Dan. We had some delicious cake that was decorated so nicely. The bottom picture is of Gramma Esther, Grampa Jeff and our good friends' dad, Mr. Andy. The party was so much fun and all the food was delicious. It was a great celebration for a great occasion.
