Oscar and Snoopy

We have some new family members and their names are Oscar and Snoopy. They are winter white dwarf hamsters. We got to adopt them from the pet store and name them all by ourselves. Adam's is Snoopy and mine is Oscar (named after the sharkslayer). They are getting used to their new cages and have been busy as little bees during the night time building their beds and getting comfortable. Oscar enjoys running on his wheel but Snoopy hasn't used his too much yet. I'm sure he will soon though.

Skateboards and rollerskates

Santa brought us our skateboards and Grandma Kitty & Grandpa Art brought us our rollerskates. We've been having a great time with them both.

Gracie and her presents

Gracie had more fun opening the presents and ripping the paper. Once she was all done ripping the paper, she was ready to move onto the next present and start ripping all over again. Once she opened her dollies though, she wanted those out of the package right away! She loves her dollies.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning is finally here! We have been waiting and waiting and waiting. We were so good and even waited upstairs until we heard Mommy and Daddy wake up at about 7am! Lots of presents, lots of family - can't beat it!

A Wise Man

Adam had his Christmas program at preschool last week. He was one of the three wise men along with Cullen and Cooper. He did a fantastic job and even managed to wave to us during the program.

Gingerbread House

We enjoyed making a huge gingerbread house before Christmas. One of our favorite parts of making the house was snacking on the candy. We were pretty proud of or confection when it was all done!

A visit from our cousins

Our cousins, Tyler and Adin, came to stay with us for a few days while their Mommy and Daddy went on a trip. We sure enjoyed having them here and it was lots of fun playing with everyone.

Not so fond of Santa

We met with our favorite jolly old fella and our little sister was terrified of him. It almost seems to be a rite of passage to go through this in our family....

Cookie decorating

Adam was able to decorate some yummy Christmas cookies with his friends Aidan, Cullen, Tate and Pato. Cullen's mom, Ms. Heidi, was very brave to let all of those boys loose with icing in her kitchen!

Fun at gymnastics

Gracie had a great time at a local gymnastics playdate. We always used to go there when we were younger but now it's Gracie's turn. She sure had fun with her little friends.

Blue lips

This is what happens when little girls try to use their big brother's ink stamper for lipstick. By the time Mommy took this picture, the blue had faded off quite a bit. It's amazing what can happen in less than 5 minutes time.....

Tree trimming

Little Miss Gracie enjoyed helping Mommy "trim" the Christmas Tree today. With help like this, who needs help?

After taking many photos to get "the perfect one" to put on our Christmas card, we needed to let loose and be silly!

Whose shoes??

Gracie LOVES all kinds of shoes. Mommy loves shopping for Gracie's shoes. Gracie loves wearing every one's shoes and it doesn't much matter how big or small - she'll find a way to get them on her little feet.

18 months young

Gracie had her well checkup at the doctor. She is a healthy girl and growing just as she should be. Gracie is 24 lbs, 9oz which is in the 50-75th percentile and is also 33 1/2 inches tall which is in the 75th-90th percentile for her age group. She says lots of words - mama, daddy, Belle, done, again, hi, and bye are only a few. She also knows what noise the cow, pig and cat make. Her favorite animal seems to be the pig. Next time you see her, you should ask her to do her impression of one.

Donuts with Dad

Adam had a special day at his preschool where only the Daddies got to come to school and have donuts with the kids. It was lots of fun and having Daddy at school was the greatest!

New skill???

Gracie now loves to feed herself using the spoon and fork. She is getting a little better at it each day. She still has a little bit (or a lot) of a problem with her yogurt but she insists on doing it herself.

Happy Halloween!

Trick-or-treating with our friends was the best! Everyone had a great time in their costumes walking around the neighborhood.

We were invited to the A-Phi Halloween party which was lots of fun! We were invited by Ms. Tiffany. We gave our mamas a run for their money! Ms. Tiffany knows what we're talking about. ;) Thanks for the invite!
