Gracie's Baptism

This weekend we had Grace Christened. She looked so beautiful in her gown and the day was very special. We had all of our family there and Miss Tiffany and her family too. We were so fortunate to have so many wonderful people here to share the occasion with us.

We love our baby sister so much. Don't think there's much more to say here.

The Cave

This past weekend we went to this really cool place where there is a huge cave. We took a tour and learned a lot. It was pretty fun. Adam had the most fun splashing in the puddles down inside the cave. I was curious to know if any dinosaurs had lived in the cave.

Superman and Simba

My friend Madison had her tonsils out last week and has had to stay at home since then. She was finally able to come over and play yesterday and we had a great time together. I'm so glad Madison is feeling better now.

Happy Birthday Grampa Jeff!

Tonight we had a birthday party at our house for Grampa Jeff. We had a wonderful pasta dinner with salad and Gramma brought us rhubarb pie from Marie Calendar's for dessert. We enjoyed helping Grampa open his presents and singing happy birthday. We love you Grampa!

Today we had a great time with some great friends.

Nap Heaven

There is nothing like a good nap on Mommy and Daddy's bed with your big brother's superman cape as your blanket. Miss Tiffany, do you recognize the outfit Gracie is wearing?
Gracie had her well check on Tuesday and she is doing great. She was 10-13 which puts her in the 50th percentile for her weight and she was 23 1/2 inches which puts her in the 90th percentile for her height. She is growing to be big and strong.

Having fun

I really enjoy jumping into the pool and then diving down to get one my dive toys at the bottom. I've been doing really at swim lessons this summer and I can do the freestyle very well (but I still have to learn to turn my head to the side to breathe) and I'm getting better at the backstroke. The backstroke was pretty difficult for me to get the hang of but now I've got it and I'm going to keep on practicing so I can get better and better.

Spending time at the pool

We have really been enjoying the pool this summer. It is so much fun to go there and swim and play with our friends.

We love a parade

Today we went to the 4th of July parade in the town where Gramma and Grampa live on the weekends. There were horses, fire trucks, old cars and lots and lots of candy.

A Moonlight Cruise

On Sunday night, Daddy took us for a moonlight boat ride at Gramma and Grampa's house. Adam just loves to "go fast on the motoboat." I would prefer to go a little slower. Despite our differences in speed preference, we had a great time with Daddy.

Neighborhood Parade

On Saturday morning we had our neighborhood 4th of July parade. A fire truck led the way and we all decorated our bikes, strollers, and such. Afterwards we got to have sno cones and jump in the moonwalk. Many of our friends were there to share in the festivities. What a great way to start off our 4th celebration!
